I'm Clay Ickes — a licensed social worker, the first fully licensed Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator in the United States, and a Boulder-based therapist who has guided more than 150 people through therapeutic psychedelic experiences.

How it works locally

Preparation and integration sessions take place in person in Boulder or remotely. Your guided psilocybin journey takes place at a licensed healing center, with tested, regulated medicine and full clinical support throughout the 7 hour session.

Who I work with

Clients come to this work for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, trauma, grief — and just as often for personal growth, clarity, and reconnection. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit, and you don't need to live in Colorado: you only need to be here for the medicine session itself.

Colorado allows both clinical and non-clinical facilitators. As a licensed therapist and licensed facilitator, I provide genuine psychedelic-assisted therapy — clinical screening, trauma-informed preparation, and integration grounded in IFS, EMDR, and somatic approaches — not just supervised dosing.
